Nehemiah Porter was born 24 Oct 1656 in Farmington, Hartford, Connecticut.[1] He was married to Hannah Lumm of Woodbury, Connecticut on 21 January 1686/7 at Farmington, Connecticut.[1][2][3]Nehemiah died in 1722 after May 23d, likely in October when his will was probated.[4]

Last Will and Testament dated 23 May 1722, "Nehemiah Porter of Farmington in the County of Hartford and Colony of Connecticut in New England." Named as heirs in the will were sons, John, Jonathan, Samuel and Thomas; daughters, Hannah and Martha; grandsons, John Porter and son of Hannah; granddaughters, Anne and Abigail Porter; there is a Rachel referenced in the inventories. Probated Oct. 1722.

Nehemiah Porter's will is dated 3 May 1722 and it appears it was presented to the court 2 Oct 1722 and an extensive inventory in Nov 1722. No wife was discussed in his will and children listed are Martha, Thomas, Samuel, Jonathan Samuel, Rachel and John. Three children of John were named - Ann, Abigail and John (Jerusha not born yet). and a son of Hannah but not by name. Found his will on Ancestry.
