Biography
Walter Povey was born at Goulburn, in New South Wales, Australia, in 1872. He was the son of John Povey and Sophia Harris. [1]
Walter married, at about age 20, to Lucy Caroline Redwood.
They were married in the Balmain suburb of Sydney, New South Wales in 1892.
Walter and Lucy had three children. [2]
Walter eventually went by the name, Walter Nathaniel Fraser, using his step-father's surname. His second marriage was to Catherine Ellen HOWARD. [3]
Walter passed away in in 1966, at age 94.
He died in the Balmain suburb of Sydney, New South Wales. [4] His death was registered under FRASER, his step-father's surname.
