Biography

John Poyntz, son of Nicholas and Elizabeth (Mill) Poyntz, married Alice Cockes before 1451 (based on the estimated birth of eldest son Robert, who was aged 17 in 1468). They had four sons (Robert, James, Maurice, and Thomas) and three daughters (Anne, Elizabeth, and a wife of John Codrington whose given name is unknown). He died in 1465.[1]
