Ed was a glazier at 15 then he was a coffin maker, cabinet maker, and carpenter. He worked on Lock and Dam 25 on the Mississippi River at Winfield, Missouri. During WWII, he was an inspector at the St. Louis Munitions Plant. Cora was a bookkeeper for John Deere before she was married and later a secretary for Chapman Art Co. Her parents were Francis Sotier (July 1837, Alsace_Lorraine to about 1901, St. Louis) and Helena Blankenheim (2_4_1848, Germany to 2_22_1929, St. Louis). Cora and Ed separated in 1928 and Cora moved to Long Beach in about 1950. Cora always claimed to be only two years older than Ed.
At the time of his death Edward was married to Hulda Grasel Prasse.
