Harry Prater was enumerated as head of the household at Precinct 4, Cass County, Texas for the April 4, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1886 in Arkansas and married. The enumerator didn't indicate at which age he was first married. He was a renter and a farmer on a farm as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Maudie Prater, daughter [son] Jewell Prater, son Wayne Prater, son B C Prater and son Milburn Prater.[1]
