Biography

Seth Pratt, the son of Eli Pratt and Abigail Hitchcock, was born April 30, 1806. On November 15, 1826 he married Abigail L. Smith. "He was a merchant, and also had property at Clark Farms, where he lived. He was a Justice of the Peace, and held the military rank of Colonel." Seth and Abigail had 8 children: Rhoda S., Mary A., twins born 1833 who died early, Althea O., unnamed infant, Martha E., and Seth L.^[1]
