Sheet 25A shows James R. Wickham (35), wife Ellen (29) and children Annie Marie (7), James R. (5) and Elisabeth J. (2) living in the home they rent for $12 on Maple Street. Both James and Ellen have completed 4 years of high school. Also living with them is their niece, McEvoy (14). Kames and the children report they were born in Kentucky. Ellen and Claire report they were born in Alabama. All but Claire and Elisabeth report they were living in the same house in 1935. James is a truck driver for the state highway department and earned $1,200 the previous year.

Annis Marie Noe, 84, of Bardstown, died Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Flaget Memorial Hospital. She was born Jan. 8, 1933, in Bardstown to the late James R. and Ellen Pratt Wickham. She was a graduate of Nazareth College, and a retired medical technologist at Flaget Hospital with 40 years of service. Annis was an avid Notre Dame fan and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served on the bereavement committee. She traveled the world with her husband, Booker Noe, and hosted visitors from all over the world promoting the bourbons from Jim Beam. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Booker Noe; a sister, Elizabeth Jane Wickham; and a brother, Jimmy Wickham. Survivors include her son, Fred (Sandy) Noe, of Bardstown; her brother, William Gerald "Wart" (Barbara) Wickham, of Oxford, Ohio; her grandson, Freddie (Kay) Noe, of Bardstown; and her great-granddaughter, Bralee Noe. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral. The Rev. Terry Bradshaw will celebrate. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home, 1475 New Shepherdsville Road. Inurnment will be in Bardstown Cemetery at a later date. Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
