Clarice Maud Preston was born in 1899 in Essendon, Victoria, Australia, daughter of Mary Ellen (Sutton) Preston and Samuel Preston.^[1]

Clarice died on 11 May 1914 in Essendon, aged 14 years.^[2] Her remains were buried at Coburg Pine Ridge Cemetery in Coburg, Victoria.^{[3] [4]}
