Elizabeth Prettyman was born about 1610, daughter of Sir John Prettyman of Dryfield, co. Glouceseter (1575–1638) and Mary Bourchier dau, of William Bourchier, of Barnesley (~1593–1638).

Elizabeth married Richard Browne (born in 1605; son of Christopher Browne and Thomasine (Gonson) Browne). Their daughter was Mary Browne (1635–1709).

Elizabeth died (age ~41) on 6 October 1652 in England.

She was buried at St. Nicholas, Deptford
