Biography

Anita Josephine was born on the 26 September 1905, the second child of Helena (Leeming) Pain. At the time of her birth, Charles Price had ben deceased for 6 1/2 years so Eleanor could not pretend that Charles was the father. And Eleanor's marriage to George Pain was 10 years away so he cannot be the suspect. ^[1]

Anita was to end up with several half siblings. Selina Rae (Price) Bowden was the first.

She was just under 21 when she had her first daughter, Nita Evelyn Price, followed 12 months later by a son, Peter Stanley John Price. Neither child had a father recorded at the birth registration,

Anita died on the 24 Aug 1993 aged 87.^[2] Her remains are buried with those of her husband Christopher Henry Page at the Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Their plot is in M 005:083 DOUBLE. A small urn to one side contains the ashes of their daughter Jennifer Dion Page (24 Sept 1940 - 14 Jun- 2013), ^[3]
