Biography
John Thomas Price, son of John B. and Margaret Price was born 31 Oct. 1838 in Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri. He traveled with his family over land to Oregon in 1846.[1] He appeared on the census of of 28 Sep. 1850 at Oregon City, Clackamas County, Oregon.[2] He was a fisherman living in the George and Catherine Thurman home when he appeared on the census of 15 June 1860, at Oregon City, Clackamas County, Oregon.[3]
He married Ellen Harris in 1876 at San Francisco.[1] Ellen died before 1900.
He was a miner when he appeared on the census of 23 June 1900 at West Lodi, San Joaquin, California.[4]
He was a lodger in the Hotel Thomas on Mission St., San Francisco, when he appeared on the census of 5 Jan. 1920.[5]
