Biography

Amandtine McKinnie Pritchett was born 7 April 1898 in Camden, Alabama to Daniel Sellers Pritchett and Sallie Everett Boykin. She was educated at Marion Seminary and then Troy Normal School. Amandtine married Wilbur Zimmerman Ellis 27 September 1924 in Wilcox, Alabama and they had Sally Boykin Ellis on 18 July 1925 in Dozier, Alabama. She left Wilbur sometime before 1930 and gave up their daughter Sally. She married Robert Lee Russell 6 February 1932 in Wilcox, Alabama. She was still alive and living in Bessemer, Alabama when he passed away in 1969. It is not known when she died.
