Church records verify spouse buried here, as she did not remarry, this burial is assumed.

Some have her birth as New Haven Ct, however, Her father, Rev. John Prudden, was well documented as to the churches he served and when. He was called to serve the Newark, NJ. church on 23 August 1692. The family moved to Newark in August, so she was born in New Jersey.

Family Bible of Nathaniel Moore CLEARLY gives birth date of Joanna as Dec 16 1692. As various people in Ancestry show her as being born November 1692, I assume the birth date is actually the christening date. She is listed as 82 in 1772 or born 1690 and in 1776 on tombstone as 84 yrs. She may be born in 1690 or 1691.
