Elizabeth Pryor's Birth Entry in Bible of Her Father Joseph Pryor Elizabeth Pryor's date of birth was recorded in the bible of her father Joseph Pryor, which was published by J. Emory and B. Waugh of the Methodist Episcopal Church, NY, in 1829. There is a photocopy of the register from Joseph Pryor's bible, but no information about its present whereabouts. The bible seems to have passed down in the family of Joseph Pryor's daughter Rebecca, who married Mordecai Fulton Doughty.

The Zachariah S. Simpson Family of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama Zachariah Simms Simpson (ca. 1793-1869), probably born in Laurens County, South Carolina, was one of the pioneer settlers of Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. He married Elizabeth Pryor about 1820/1823, probably in Tuscaloosa County. Descendants and relatives lived in Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, California and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in South Carolina, Virginia and elsewhere until about 1630. Includes ancestry in England to about 1580.
