Obituary.

Monday morning Roe Purvis of Washunga, walked out to the home of Ed. Auld, two miles West of Washunga on his way to the pipe line gang. Arriving there he complained of feeling badly and was hauled back to town, when Dr. Irvin was called and prescribed for his wants and returned to Kaw.

In about one-half hour after the Doctor had left, he quietly passed away.

Mr. Purvis was sixty-two years of age at the time of his death, and leaves a wife and seven children to mourn his loss, viz Mrs. Grace Spurgeon of Washunga; Mrs. Jess Lyon, Kaw; Ira, George, Freddie, Claude and Mabel Purvis of Washunga.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ammons of Newkirk, after which interment was made in the Washunga cemetery.
