Posted on Findagrave.com: Pearl Puryear Barnett, 86, Louisville, formerly of Campbellsville, died at 12:25 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 11, 1993, in Louisville after an illness. Born in Taylor County Oct. 5, 1906, she was the daughter of the late A. A. Puryear and Jane Murray Puryear. Barnett was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church, Louisville, and a retired home economist for Kentucky Utilities. She was married to Roy B. Barnett, who preceded her in death April 10, 1973. Barnett is survived by one sister, Blanche Puryear Blackford, Louisville; one niece, Sandra B. Clark, Spartanburg, S.C.; and several other relatives. She was preceded in death by one brother, Woodrow Puryear. The funeral was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with burial in the Brookside Cemetery. The Rev. Gene Weddle officiated. Pallbearers were Richard Puryear, Kermit Murray, Everette Lee, Dr. R. A. Sanders, Phil Allan Bertram and George O.
