Private Aaron Putnam served with 4th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.

Aaron was born in 1756. He was the son of Jonathan Putnam and Sarah Perley. He passed away in 1777.

938. Aaron (Jonathan, Jonathan, Jonathan, John, John), born in Danvers, 6 Sept., 1756; married Olive Osborn(e). After Aaron's death, she joined her sons in New York. Children :

1. 2205 Parley, went to sea and never was heard from; supposed to have been killed in Spain.
2. 2206 Nathan, settled in NY. Nathan afterward went to Michigan.
3. 2207 Jeremiah, settled in NY.
