York Pyne is a part of US Black heritage.
York was born enslaved before 1814. She was listed in the probate records of John Pyne along with Dorinda, Arabila, Clarissa, Crissy, Claudia, and Fatima. As a group they were valued at $2100. At the time of this inventory, they were all enslaved at Yaughall Plantation
