Pyne-972 and Pyne-733 do not represent the same person because: They were inventoried on two different plantations.

Pyne-972 and Pyne-733 do not represent the same person because: Pyne-972 and Pyne-733 were enslaved on two different plantations. They are not the same person but were owned by the same slave holder. It is quite common for slave owners to have had more than one slave by the same name.

Pyne-972 and Pyne-733 do not represent the same person because: Same owner, same plantation, different people as listed in the documentation. Please check slave status before asking for a merge!

I am sure it can be very confusing to see these two as being the same person, but we are dealing with two different enslaved people who have the same name and were living on two different plantations in the same county. They appear to be the same but are not. You can refer to the bios in these profiles and see if they are part of the US Black Heritage Project. If a Slave Owner heading is on the profile, someone from the project created the profile. Please be very careful with these merge requests. Thank you.
