Biography
Maria Charlotte Quaife was born in 1819 in Catsfield, Sussex, her father, William, was 25, and her mother, Maria, was 22. She had two daughters with James Sargent between 1845 and 1852. She died in January 1907 in Steyning, Sussex, having lived a long life of 88 years.
