Biography

Bill was born in Schenectady, New York on May 13, 1955. He was the son of Charles Quentin and Priscilla Smith.

He was a member of the Scarborough, Maine fire department. On March 8, 1980 while responding to a call he was riding on the outside of the ladder truck when it was struck by one of the other responding fire trucks at an intersection. The ladder truck rolled over and Bill died as a result of his injuries.^[1][2][3]
