Biography

Verla B. Quertermous was born on May 11, 1892 in Crittenden County, Kentucky.^[1] She was the daughter of John Quertermous and Matilda Hazel.^[2] Verla married Oliver J. Cope on August 31, 1913 in Dunklin County, Missouri.^[3] Verla and Oliver lived in Kennett^[4] and Hornersville^[5][6] in Dunklin County, Missouri. Verla died on October 24, 1966 and is buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Kennett (Dublin County), Missouri.^[1]
