Biography

Harold Raymond Quesnell was born on Thursday, March 19, 1925 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. He was the son of Arthur A. (Friday, May 17, 1895 - and Mabel F. Brown (Friday, June 24, 1898 - Monday, December 5, 1977) Quesnell. His father was an auto mechanic. His parents were married in Chicago on Wednesday, November 19, 1919.

During World War II Harold served in the U.S. Navy from Thursday, March 18, 1943 until Monday, March 18, 1946?

On Friday, May 11, 1945, Harold married Joan M. Schauer in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. They divorced. On Tuesday, March 18, 1949, he married Blanche Cleary in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois according to Cook County Marriage Records. No information has been found concerning Blanche Cleary or this marriage.

In the Terre Haute Tribune, Thursday, August 16, 1956, Harold was identified as a director in the Articles of Incorporation for Midwest Appliance Sales and Service, Inc. The two other officers were Wayne Seybold and Ruth Seybold. The business was located at 1722 Wabash Avenue, Terre Haute, Vigo County, Indiana.

He suffered from Hodgkins disease which led to a massive gastrointestinal hemorrhage due to a large peptic ulcer. Harold passed away in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana at the Veterans Administration Medical Center on Wednesday, February 18, 1981. His Indiana death certificate states that at the time he was divorced and living in Carmel, Hamilton County, Indiana as a salesman.

He is buried at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Hamilton County, Indiana.
