Biography

Marie Ausite Rachal, daughter of Julien Rachal and Marie Brevel, was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana in 1792.^{[citation needed]}

She married Francois Oscar Roubieu by 1831.

The 1870 US Federal Census enumerates Ausite Roubieu in the household of Francois Roubieu (her son), daughter Pauline Roubieu Flanners and son, Thomas Flanners, in New Orleans, Louisiana.^{[citation needed]}

She died in New Orleans in 1872.

ROUBIEU - On Wednesday, the 24th inst., at 12 o'clock, M., at her late residence, No. 476 St. Charles street, Mrs. Widow FRANCOIS ROUBIEU, aged eighty-two years.^[1]
