William Irvin married Mary Venita Fowler in Chandler, OK on Dec. 24 1920. They had 6 Children: Oliver Dalton, Willie Irvin Jr., Edith Allene, Carl Lee, Syble Elizabeth, Sylvia Mae.
Services for Willie Irvin Ragsdale, 72, longtime Chandler, area resident, were Wednesday, April 30, at the Curry Funeral Chapel, Chandler, Interment was at Oak Park cemetery. Ragsdale died April 28 at a Chandler hospital. He was born June 26, 1902. At Marshfield, Mo., and came to Chandler area in 1905, living here since. He was a farmer and had served on the Springdale board of education for over 25 years. He was married Dec. 24 1920at Chandler to Mary fowler. Ragsdale was pro9ceded in death by a brother, Guy, in 1956, and one sister, Mrs. Vernie Keller in 1962. Survivors include his wife, of the home south of Chandler; three sons, Oliver D. of Spencer, Willie Irvin Jr., of Shawnee, and Carl of Tahlequah; three daughters, Mrs. Syble Tetirick. Chandler; Mrs. Edith Wilson, Tecumseh; and Mrs. Sylvia Holland, Spencer; ten grandchildren' and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers. Grandville of Sand Springs, Opla of Tulsa, Joe of Stillwater, and Eugene of Tulsa and one sister, Lola Tidwell, Tulsa.[1]
