Ruth had the middle name of "Etta" almost all her life ... when she became old enough to apply for Social Security payments she needed a birth certificate ... she ordered one from MN ... it stated that her middle name was really "Ann" ... it is told that her father, Harold Knott Rammel, must have made the change when filling out the birth papers at the hospital ... and he most likely never told her mother, Oma A Allison-Rammel.
