Albert Randall, 89 Years Old, Passed Away Sunday The state of Vermont has long been noted for the sturdiness and honesty of its native sone; for their industry and their patriotism. Among those native sone was Albert A Randall who first saw the light of day at Springfield in Windsor County of that state on June 6, 1850. The first fourteen years of his life were spent in his native rock-ribbed state after which he transferred with his parents to Iowa where, for a year, they lived in Mitchell then removed to Chickasaw County where he had lived continuously until the time of his death on Sunday morning May 14, 1939 at the extremely ripe age of 88 years, 11 months, and 8 days. The last 31 years of this long life were spent in our own city of Fredericksberg. On July 3, 1869, he was united in marriage to Eleanor Kimball of Old Bradford near Nashua and she remained a constant companion and loyal help mate until her death which occurred but a scant two months ago thus breaking their union which had lasted almost 70 years but, today that brief break had been repaired and they are once more united never more to be parted. To this union were born eight children.
