Sep 1850 - John Randolph Family - Living in Pulaski Co., KY[1][2]

November 7th 1855 - Samuel Randolph and Harriet Ashurst were married in Pulaski County, Kentucky.[3]

1860 - "Samuel Randolph Family - Living in Pulaski Co., KY[4][5]

Civil War: U.S. Civil War Draft Registration Records 1863-1865, 14th Sub District, Pulaski, KY 8th Congressional district

1870 - Samuel Randolph Family - Living in Pulaski County, KY.[6][7]

1880 The Samuel (Sam) Randolph Family, living in Saltspring Twp area of Randolph County, Missouri[8][9]

1900 - The Sam Randolph family living in Ten Mile Twp, Macon County, MO.[10][11]

Samuel Randolph died April 30th, 1907 within Macon County, Missouri and is buried in 'Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery'. [12]

MACON REPUBLICAN Macon, Missouri--May 11,1907 Mr. Samuel Randolph died at his home at Ten Mile, Macon Co. on April 30, 1907. The funeral was preached on May 2nd by Reverend Dillard of Macon and Mr. Randolph was buried in the churchyard at Ten Mile Baptist Church.

Mr. Samuel Randolph was born in Pulaski Co. Ky. on March 31,1829 and in 1876 became a resident of Missouri. He married in 1854 to Harriet S. Ashurst of Pulaski Co. Ky. and was the Father of nine children. Five of whom survive along with his faithful companion, Harriet. (Survivors include)Mrs. Mattie Merrin of Clarence, Missouri, Mrs. Laura Duffield and John Samuel Randolph of Moberly, Mr. Craig Randolph of Colorado and Miss Hattie Randolph of Ten Mile.

Mr. Randolph joined the Ten Mile Church in 1887 and was a well respected and prominent citizen of this community.

A message received here yesterday afternoon conveyed the message of the sad news of the death of Mr. Samuel Randolph, a prominent and highly respected citizen of Macon Co, Missouri. Deceased was the Father of John Samuel Randolph of this City, who left for Macon County, yesterday morning. A mention was made of this in yesterdays Democrat. Mr. Randolph has the sympathy of all of us on the death of his Father.

Samuel and [Private] are 24th cousins once removed

Samuel Randolph (1829-1907) and Cherie (Randolph) Freeman (2736) are both descendants of Isabel (Saye) de Botreaux (abt.1135-abt.1199).

Samuel is my great-great grandfather. I'm following this line and trying to get past his father, who I have as John Henry Randolph, Sr. I'm new here and still following that thread.
