Research Notes

Mary has previously been shown onWikiTree as wife of Thomas Batte and mother of three of his children. Thomas married someone called Mary, but there is no clear evidence to identify what her family name was, and she has been detached.

Mary has been shown as wife of Thomas Batte, https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Batte-58. As has been stated on Thomas's profile for quite some time, there is no clear evidence for the family origins of Thomas's wife Mary. As part of my overhaul of Thomas's profile, I have detached her. I have added a research note.

If any reliable source can be found to prove that William Jennings and Hannah Grendon are the parents of Mary Randolph Batte, please add it or contact the PM or Donna Harris. Thanks!

Thomas Batte's wife is Mary Unknown, Mary Jennings, or Mary Randolph (and all seem to be the mother of his children). Any idea if they're the same person somehow? (see a working outline of the family at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Batte_of_Oakwell_resources ) Thanks!
