Silence (Ranney) Dewitt was born in 1777. She was the daughter of Elijah Ranney and Elizabeth (Root) Ranney. She married Wainwright (Witt) Dewitt on October 3, 1795 in Westminster, Windham, Vermont, United States. She passed away in 1858.
