Biography

Gerald was born on 26 August 1871 at either Washington, D.C.,^[1] or Albany, New York.^[2] He was the son of Henry Rathbone and Clara Harris. He passed away on 25 September 1936. ^[2][3]

He was the younger brother of Congressman Henry Riggs Rathbone. ^[4]

In 1908 he married Gertrude Josselyn, daughter of Charles M. Josselyn, in San Francisco.^[5][6]
