Research Notes

No Quaker death record located.

The location "Liscorran" and "Lissacurran" reflect the many transcriptions of a very local place in Ireland. You can find it spelled today as "Lisnacurran" ... and all that is left is a Bed & Breakfast, about 3 miles from Lurgan and 2 miles from Lisburn. The place has not changed ... it's just a matter of what the listener heard said. Just like the diverse spelling of Eleanor - Elinor - Ellinor.
