Research Notes

  • There is a conflict between the will record and the FG memorial. Further investigation is required. FG source link marked "sameas=no" until resolved to prevent error report. ~ Scott Anderson 25 May 2019.
  • The above mentioned will information was removed as is more likely pertains to Samuel Ream, son of Jacob Ream (Ream-254). They were about the same age. According to Denniston, this Samuel Ream moved to Turkeyfoot Valley and no further information is known. The FG memorial should remain "sameas=no" since there is no source for Samuel Ream's death and burial. It seems a stretch to assume he was buried in Reamstown since that is quite a distance, but maybe he returned to the area before his death. Selvaggio-84 04:00, 28 December 2019 (UTC)

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Samuel by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Samuel:
