Biography

Milner married Sarah Lewis, 25 Dec 1766, St. James Northam Parish, Goochland.
Marriage Bond dated 19 Dec 1766. Sarah was the daughter of Joseph Lewis. Security, John Lewis.[1]
He apparently had a child out of wedlock prior to his marriage. In The Douglas Register:
Milner Radford & Eliz. Pollock a Daughter named Lucy born April3 5 1761 in fornication. Baptized 1761 Aug: 6.
The baptisms of the children of Milner Redford and Sarah Lewis took place at St. James Northam.
Millner Radford & Sarah Lewis a son named Robert born 21 Aug 1767; baptized 18 Dec 1767.
....a Daughter named Elizabeth born 24 Apr 1769; baptized 23 Jul 1769
....a daughter called Mary born 27 Dec 1773; baptized 27 Feb 1774
....a son named William born 10 Jul 1777; baptized 3 Sep 1777 [this son likely died because the next two sons were also named William]
....a son named William born 28 Oct 1778; baptized 9 Aug 1778 [would seem he was baptized before he was born; probably should have been 1779]
....a son William born 25 May 1783; baptized 16 Dec 1783.
