Biography

Anna Dorothea was born in 1813. Anna Redlich married Samuel Gottlob Putsch in Rensekow, Pommern, Prussen, Germany. Samuel and Anna had three children born in Rensekow before they immigrated to Australia on the Vessel 'Heerjeebhoy Rustomjee Patel'. Children: (1) Johanne Anna Elisabeth SEIDEL (1834-1855); (2) Johann Gottfried (1835-1900); and Anna Rosina ZEUNERT (1839-1906).

Immigration: The family departed Bremen, Germany on 21 Apr 1845 and arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia on 18 Sep 1845. Samuel was 41 years of age and Anna Dorothea was 32 years of age.

Anna Dorothea and Samuel had two more children, both born at Lobethal, South Australia. (4) Johann August 1848-1917; and (5) Maria Dorothea FAEHRMANN 1852-1918.


Anna Dorothea passed away in 1877 at Lobethal, South Australia. She was buried in St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery at Lobethal, South Australia. Her husband died 0 years later and was buried with her.[1]
