Biography

Based on the birth of her oldest child, Electa, Lucy Reed and Erastus Burgess married around 1803. ^[1]

After the death of her husband, Lucy lived with her daughter Patience Tarbell and her family in Grafton in 1850 ^[2] and 1860 ^[3]

She died on April 3, 1863 in Grafton ^[4] and is buried in the Burgess Cemetery in Grafton, Vermont. ^[5]
