Biography

John Reeder, the son of Peter Reeder and Hannah Hewitt, was baptised at the parish church in Great Ellingham, Norfolk, England on the 9th of Febrary 1806.

On the 24th of April 1826 John married Hannah Beales, daughter of Thomas Beales and his wife Anne, at the parish church in Great Ellingham, Norfolk.

In 1841 John and Hannah were living in Great Ellingham along with their children Peter, Elizabeth, Hannah and Jane.

They were still living in Great Ellingham at the time of the 1851 census although the only children at home were Peter and Jane.

In the 1861 census there were no children living at home in Great Ellingham, Norfolk.

John passed away in 1868 and his burial service took place at Great Ellingham, Norfolk on the 23rd of June 1868.
