Biography

Louisa was born about 1854 [1]in Orange Row, Brighton, England the daughter of a fish hawker, a fact she tried to hide in NZ. She was the daughter of Henry Reeves [2]

She married William Wilson at Saint Nicholas Church, Brighton in 1872 [2] and then emmigrated to New Zealand at age 17 with her 18 yr old husband William later the same year.[1]. Their first child was born in transit on board the Christian McAusland which docked at Pt Chalmers, NZ.

She passed away on 22 June 1946, aged 91. Her last address was 604a Cumberland St, Dunedin, New Zealand. She was a widow. She buried in the Andersons Bay Cemetery on 25 June 1946. Location: Block 66, Plot 87 [1]
