Eliza is listed on the 1870 Census living with Alexander Doughty and two children (Weather and Lizzie) in Ward Eight, East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana.^[1] On the 1880 Census the couple is living in the household of Jack Buller in Amite, Mississippi with a total of five children (E.W., H.C., G.B., A.C., and Babe).^[2]
