Elizabeth Reeves was born October 7, 1809[1] in Shenandoah County, Virginia[2][3], the second child of Ephraim Reeves and Nancy Anna Sawiney. According to the census records, this child had already passed away by 1820, as there are only two girls accounted for, likely her sisters Mary Ann and Margaret Ann.
Although her grave is unknown, her father Ephraim who died in 1818[4] is buried on the land they owned; likely she was laid to rest there as well.
