Biography

James was born in 1836. James Reeves Enlisted in the Confederate army on 8 May 1861 as a private in Company C 5th Infantry Regiment. He was at Harpers Ferry serving under Captain Doyle. After the war he married Mary J Dennison in 1865 and continued to farm his land. He passed away at home in 1902. He is buried at Mossy Creek Presbyterian Church, Mount Solon, VA.
