Delila Reid married Joseph Narramore in 1819. They had six (it is believed) children by 1836. No record of Joseph is known after 1837. In 1852, the Alabama legislature passed an act "solemnizing the existing marriage" between Delila Narramore and John Wooddell. She had four children with John Woodiel beginning in 1838. Delila died in 1879.

Evidence for her parentage:
1. DNA matches between at least 7 Murphree descendants and a known descendant of Delila Reid. One of these segments triangulates with another (2nd cousin) Delila Reid descendant.
2. Delila named two children Reuben and Editha, after her presumed parents.
3. Delila lived next door to her presumed sister Elizabeth (Reid) and Martin Ward in 1830.
