A HORNSBY BRIDE Cumberland Argus and Fruitgrowers Advocate (Parramatta, NSW), 13 Nov 1920 A wedding which attracted considerable interest was celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Hornsby, on October 30th, when Miss Jane Clews, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs. J. Clews, of Hornsby, was marrled to Mr. John Reid, of Glen Innes, and brother of Mr. C. Reid, of Hornsby. The bride was charmingly attired in a dress of hand-embroidered crepe de chine. The customary wreath and veil were worn, and the bridal bouquet was very dainty. Misses Ada and Gwen Clews, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. They wore tasteful dresses of white voile relieved with pink sashes and pink hats. Their bouquets were of pink carnations. Mr. Sheather, cousin of the bride, was best man. A reception was held at the resldence of the bride's parents. The honey moon was spent at Thirroul. The bride travelled in a dress of blue crepe de chine, relieved with putty crepe do chine, and hat to match.
