Mary Ann Reilley was born on 25th December 1814 at Epping Forest, Hertfordshire, England. She was the eldest daughter of John Reilley and Mary Ann unknown. At the time of Mary's wedding in 1834, John was living in Pitt Street, Sydney.
She migrated to New South Wales, Australia before 1834.
Mary married the widowed Henry Badgery on 9th August 1834 in St James' Church of England, Sydney, New South Wales. The ceremony was officiated at by the Rev'd R Hill.[1] [2] As well as the three sons that Henry brought to the marriage, Mary and Henry had a further nine sons.
Mary passed away in 1898 and is buried with her husband in All Saints churchyard, Sutton Forest.[3]
