Biography

The son of George Reinhardt (1855-) and Elnora L. Bullinger (1857-), Edward was born in Monroetown in 1894.^[1][2][3] His siblings included:

1. William Reinhardt (1882-)
2. Elnora Reinhardt (1885-)
3. Frederick (1891-)

He married Edna (Wehner) Reinhardt in Monroetown on March 2, 1916.^[4] He registered for the draft on June 5, 1917, stating that he was employed as a farmer in La Salle, Michigan. He was described as being a short, slender man with brown hair and eyes.^[5] His children with Edna included:

He farmed on his own account in La Salle.^[6] Sometime between 1920 and 1930, he left farming and moved the family to Toledo, where he worked as a repairman for the "street railroad."^[7] However, by 1940, he had resumed farming, this time in Summerfield Township.^[8]

He passed away at the age of 78 and is buried at Deerfield Township Cemetery in Deerfield, Michigan.^[9]
