Mrs. Caroline Emily May Murray, wife of J. R. Murray passed this life on November 27, 1913, aged 31 years, 1 month and 27 days. She was the mother of six children, four of whom are living. "Not lost, bless God, but gone before, Where we shall meet to part no more."

Tuesday, December 2, the death angel visited the Murrays again and took from it the youngest child, Ethel May, bringing renewed sorrow to the father, four children and grandparents. But earth's loss is heaven's gain. The funeral of the mother was held November 28 at 2 p.m. at the cemetery and the baby at the home of Fred Reinhart, C. A. Harvey officiating at both funerals.

There is none unto God. Behold the sun, the moon, the stars. Forever singing as they shine. The hand that made us is devine. [sic]
