Biography

Henry Reynolds was born 1 January 1656. He is the son of James Reynolds and Deborah Unknown. He married Sarah Greene.[1]

1716 Apr 28 "Agreement between Sarah Reynolds, widow of Henry, lately deceased intestate, and her son Henry, &c. Henry to give brother John, £20, and deed of what land his father had in Westerly. To sister Sarah Briggs £19. To sister Deliverance Reynolds, £12 10s, within two years, and a feather bed. To sister Mary Reynolds, £12, 10s., and a feather bed. To brother James £50, at age. To brother Thomas, £50, at age. To sister Deborah Reynolds, £15, at eighteen or marriage and a chest. To brother Elisha, £50, at age and a deed of certain land at Aquidneset. To widow Sarah, in lieu of dower, the new house that was her husband's to live in, half the cellar, half what is raised on the land, half the profits of stock and other movables, so long as either of sons James, Thomas or s, dwell with her, &c., also six bushels of Indian corn, firewood, &c., while widow, the keep of two cows and of a beast to ride, &c.[2]

Note that Henry's brother Joseph was born in 1652.

Reynolds-19497 and Reynolds-581 appear to represent the same person because: -they are married to the same woman, and they have a child in common. NOTE: Several online sources say that Henry Reynolds was born about 1 Jan 1656 and died about 28 April 1716
