Biography

Cornelius was born about 1843. He was the son of Henry Rhodes and Sarah Moore. [1] He was born shortly before the death of his father.

He died on May 15, 1867 at the age of 23 and is buried in the old section of Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville, Missouri. His tombstone is the oldest known stone of the Rhodes family in Perry County. [2]
