Margaret Rice. [1]
Note: #NI3908.
Note NI3908Sarah S. Clinard sold about 50 acres of land to Jacob R. Reece in 1861 (deed reference: Davidson County NC, book 17, pg. 92). It came out of the estate of Enoch Reece (Rice) and was transferred to Catherine Monroe and Margaret Reece by Jesse Bodenhamer(husband of Rachel RiceReece) in 1825 and was subsequently inherited by Sarah Clinard from both Catherine Monroe and Margaret Reece. I do not understand the relationship between Sarah Weavil Clinard and these two individuals?.
I would speculate that one of these individuals is the mother of Sarah Weavil Clinard by John (Johnny) Weavil and I would guess that it was Catherine Monroe and that both Catherine and Margaret were Reece sisters. I also think it is possible that Catherine Monroe later married Isaac Bevair Payne and subsequently died in 1860 making the land available for purchase in 1861.
