Biography

Edward Rice represented Dingle in James II "Patriot Parliament" that sat just once, in 1689^[1].

Given his wife Alice Shiercliffe was born in 1680 his birth date must be 1650-1660.

S.T. McCarthy has his wife as Martha Shiercliffe after a family tree produced by Christian (Rice) Conway.

Edward Rice and Alice Shiercliffe had, at least, four daughters ^[2]:

• Christiana
• Alice
• Mary
• Martha

All of these would have all been born before 1733 as the were in the "The Blennerhassett Pedigree" aka "Black Jack's Book" that was completed that year.
